The space here is very beautiful and well kept. We were greeted with iced fruit tea and a cold toilette upon arriving. The womxn that gave me my massage and facial was very gentle and good at what she does. The music was very peaceful. We were given a treat and hot tea after our treatment. I had a full body treatment “green touch” which was just amazing! After a really relaxing and deep Balinese massage, you receive a scrub and different layers of detoxing and rejuvenating treatments. My therapist was in the flow giving gentle, strong and moderate pressure on specific spots. I felt 10 yrs younger after, detoxed and revitalized…while time flew by!
The spa is very new in a quiet surrounding, close to rice fields, far away from the busy crowds. It’s really worth a visit! The nice ambience adds to relaxation, a drink is served before and after treatment (after even a small snack!)…

Wow. This massage was one of the best massages i ever had. The perfect pressure , nice atmosphere, very nice oil, perfect music in background … The people so nice, warm hearted, and kind. You get also tea and a nice traditionell coconut wrap in the end . Highly recommend this place.

Over my week stay in Ubud, i have been to several spas. This one may seem over priced compared to the others in the town center but Samana takes it to the next level! It is more so the kind of spa and professionalism you would expect when you first think of a resort style spa.

This was a hidden gen found as we were cycling back to our villa. We booked a 3 hour spa treatment but was cared for almost 4 hours.
Balinese massage and then hot stone massage followed by the traditional kunyit lulur was a truly wonderful experience. Our room with big windows over looking the paddy field was magical. Natural breeze. We ended it with a sea salt bath filled with flowers.

This was a very enjoyable experience. The after effects involved muscle release, release of tension throughout the session, including the bath that followed. Stress peeled off with each soothing stroke, and visions of nature, feeling of calm played out this period of pause.
My only recommendation is to not speak too much during the session. It can become distracting and take away from the treatment. It begins to feel that the therapists are not taking the work seriously.

The lady that gave my massage was so professional and ensured that she checked that I was okay and comfortable through out the treatment- she also ensured that the pressure was okay throughout. Booked for a 90 minute massage and was only given a 60 minute one. Disappointed that the focus areas i identified were not focussed on. Must focus on customer service. Also, therapist must have had a cold as she was sniffling all the time.

The entrance and welcome was very warm and inviting. Staff were extremely pleasant and attentive to our needs. I had the back massage which put me to sleep a couple of times. The welcome drink was refreshing and the departure tea /dessert with just the right amount of sweetness.
